About Us
The Book Industry Environmental Council is coordinated by Green Press Initiative and Kurt Andrews of Melcher Media acts as the Executive Diector. The council consists of more than twenty companies and organizations in the book industry including paper manufacturers and suppliers, publishers, printers, retailers, and nonprofit organizations.
The council is currently focusing on priority areas each of which has a dedicated subcommittee. The priority areas are:
